Baton Rouge Rapper Mista Cain Uses Social Media Platform to Help Retrieve Abducted Child

Baton Rouge, LA— August 18, 2020 — In under 24 hours, Samuel Nicholas, better known as Mista Cain  was able to utilize his social media platform to assist in getting an abducted child returned safely to her family after she was kidnapped for several hours.
 
Amyra Harrison,10, was swiftly taken from the comfort of her bed late Friday night. After discovering that her daughter was missing, Raven Nicholas, turned to the help from her community to get her little girl back home. When Cain was contacted to help, he did not hesitate to use his resources to help bring attention to this horrendous crime. After posting to his verified Instagram account (@MistaCain) his post received 6000 shares in only a few hours. 
 
“I’m trying to continue to use my platform to bring awareness to child abduction and trafficking because this one hit home – this happened to my family…all I can think about is my daughters,” says the rapper a few days after his niece was found.
 
Baton Rouge authorities worked diligently in obtaining the location of Harrison and are currently undergoing an investigation.
