There’s been newfound hope in the fight for C-Murder’s release from prison as Kim Kardashian, Monica, and other celebrities have voiced their intentions to get the rapper released. C-Murder’s brother Master P expressed joy that many are offering their support but warned supporters of the tough fight ahead.

In a video message, gives his gratitude to Kim Kardashian and Monica while alerting them that Louisiana isn’t an easy state to deal with due to corruption.

“My whole thing is getting my brother home. Whatever anybody do that’s gonna spark that plug, I appreciate it,” said the No Limit Records founder. “But, like I said, Louisiana is not the same like all the rest of these places.”

“I hope it’s all for the right reasons with all these people,” Master P continued. “Louisiana is serious. We done spent millions of dollars throughout all these years and, you know, this place has a lot of corruption. Hopefully, Kim K and her celebrity status — but, this is not going to be easy.”
